REGULATIONS

These regulations, hereinafter referred to as “THE REGULATIONS”, state the procedures according to which the Latvian Latino Dance Federation, hereinafter referred to as “THE FEDERATION”, determines the application for the participation in the 9th Baltic Latino Congress, hereinafter referred to as “THE CONGRESS”, and conditions, which are obligatory to all the participants of THE CONGRESS.

Registering the participation in THE CONGRESS, the participants agree with the Regulations and undertake to comply with them.

The timing of THE CONGRESS - August 24 - 26, 2012, Rīga.

REGISTRATION FOR THE CONGRESS AND PAYMENT CONDITIONS
1. Get familiar with the Regulations before the registration.
2. A potential participant registers at the internet sites www.studiox1.lv, www.salsa.lv, entering the requested information, filling-in the obligatory fields and confirming the familiarisation with the Regulations. An application shall be considered a guarantee of payment for the participation in THE CONGRESS.
3. The confirmation and invoice shall be sent to the indicated e-mail address within one working day.
4. The payment can be made: through an internet bank or bank (the participant’s first name and surname and the selected ticket shall be mentioned in the payment order) or at THE CONGRESS office in Riga, at 24 Kalku Street, arranging an appointment in advance, by calling the phone number +37128351811.
5. After the receipt of the payment, THE CONGRESS sends a registration number to the indicated e-mail address.
6. The payment shall be made within 5 days after the receipt of the invoice.
7. Revoking the participation in THE CONGRESS before July 20, 2012, 50% of the paid sum shall be repaid; starting from July 20, 2012, revoking the participation in THE CONGRESS, the paid sum shall not be repaid.
8. It is possible to find out about the possibilities of the reregistation of the registered and paid participation in THE CONGRESS in the name of another participant by contacting the organizers of THE CONGRESS, but not later than on August 10, 2012. The paid cash shall not be repaid in this case, but a new participant is registered with the same participant’s registration number. THE CONGRESS has the right to exact the commission for the reregistration, equal to 10% of the ticket price.

THE PROGRESS OF THE CONGRESS
9. The issue of bracelets to those participants in THE CONGRESS, who have registered for the participation in the classes, will take place in Riga, at 24 Kalku Street, from August 24, 2011, 13:00 hours.
10. The bracelets will be issued personally only to those participants, who have registered for the participation in THE CONGRESS and received the participants’ numbers issued by THE FEDERATION, and who can produce personal identification documents (an ID card, passport, driver’s license). The name of the registered participant must be identical with the name shown in the personal identification document!
11. The bracelets shall not be changed during THE CONGRESS. If a bracelet is lost, it may be acquired anew, registering repeatedly for the price existing during THE CONGRESS.

THE CONGRESS CLASSES
12. THE CONGRESS classes may require physical loads of heightened intensity. It is recommended to consult with your physician before the participation in THE CONGRESS classes, if necessary. Each participant is responsible for the state of his/her health.
13. THE CONGRESS organizers are not responsible for the state of the participants’ health and adequacy for the selected classes.
14. THE CONGRESS classes are subdivided by levels. The levels are determined the generally accepted practice of the international salsa festivals.
IMPORTANT: taking into account that training of the same duration with different teachers takes place, the acquired dancing level may differ.
15. The participant, evaluating his previous dancing experience and duration, selects the suitable level of classes independently.
16. The list with the planned timing and premises for the classes will be available from July 15, 2012 at the internet sites: www.salsa.lv, www.studiox1.lv, as well as at the locations of THE CONGRESS. THE FEDERATION has the right to make corrections in the plan of the classes and events, placing information at the Information Centre at the location of THE CONGRESS.
17. THE CONGRESS classes take place in English.
18. The classes must be attended before their initiation. After the initiation of the classes, the access to the premises, where the classes take place, may be denied, in order to prevent hindrance to the classes. The cash shall not be repaid to the participant in this case.
19. Footwear shall be changed before the classes. The participation in the classes in “street” footwear is prohibited.
20. The determined order shall be complied with during the classes. If the teacher requests an exchange of partners, that request shall be complied with.
21. It is prohibited to film (take video) and photograph during the classes. It is permitted to take photographs with the teacher after the classes, if the teacher agrees to it.
22. THE FEDERATION and the teachers are not responsible for the safety of the participants’ property and will not provide its protection.
23. THE FEDERATION has the right to remove those participants from the classes, which do not comply with the order determined by the teacher, or disturb others in any other way, do not change footwear, film or make photographs. The money paid for the participation in THE CONGRESS shall not be repaid.

The CONGRESS participant is responsible
24. For the indication of an accurate and active e-mail address for the receipt of the confirmation, invoice and participant’s number.
25. For the state of his health.
26. The participant evaluates and selects the suitable level of classes independently.
7. For the safety of his property.
28. For the compliance with the Regulations.

THE FEDERATION is not responsible, does not refund the money paid by the participant for the ticket and does not cover losses
29. Revoking the participation in THE CONGRESS on or after July 20, 2012.
30. For the classes of THE CONGRESS missed by the participant or those for which he has been late.
31. For the insufficient level of the participant’s knowledge and skills for the selected classes.
32. If the participant has been removed from the classes.
33. If the participant does not understand the language used during the classes.
34. For traumas and other damage to health suffered during THE CONGRESS.
35. If the participant has complaints about the content, form or teaching methods of the classes or other complaints.

THE FEDERATION has the right
36. To change the time, location and premises for the classes, as well as the teachers.
