There are two prevailing opinions in the society about Latino dance: either you shoul dance it for fun or if you are a more advanced dancer, you should try your skills in a competition. Therefore, in order to let both sides have mutually enriching experience Latvia Latino Dance Federation in cooperation with studioX1 offers a wider program within the framework of Baltic Latino Congress that takes place on August 24th - 26th, 2012, that it has been before.
1. Traditional workshops will take place in various halls, both for beginners and advanced dancers. The participants of the competition will also attend classes where they will have a great opportunity to prepare for dance competitions and get essential experience from professional dance teachers.
2. There will be traditional Pre-Pre-Party, Pre-Party, Grand Salsa Party and Afterparty. As opposed to the previous years, the program of Grand Salsa Party will be quite extensive, diverse and interesting for everybody - the participants of the competition, dance fans/lovers or simply guests.
3. NEW! – Baltic Latino Dance World Cup with cooperation with International Dance Organization (IDO) will take place on the 25thof August, 2012.
4. NEW! – Discussion session at which professional dancers and dance lovers will meet is included in the program for the first time.
5. NEW! – The organizers of all the congresses or festivals, all Latino dance studios will be able to participate in Baltic Latino Congress Exhibition in order to promote their activities and offers.
